The SGF Ltd. in cooperation with KFKI RMKI has developed the data acquisition and control computer system for Plasma Wave Complex (PWC). It will be mounted to the International Space Station. The PWC includes 11 sensors and three on-board computers. The archiving computer will be inside the station while two computers will be mounted outside. The SGF Ltd. contribution was to develop the real-time multitasking operating system for the computers and to develop the electrical ground support equipment (EGSE) which simulates the electrical interfaces of space station and the data flow of the eleven sensors. The EGSE contains a signal level simulator unit using an embedded processor and a workstation for the graphical user interface.
